COVID-19 POLICY & INFORMATION

YOURS & OUR STAFFS SAFETY IS OUR MAIN FOCUS

Our activities are have been redesigned with social distancing measures in mind so that you can still have an amazing time in a safe space.

Our aim is to make our site as socially responsible as possible, for you to come and have fun with us. But what steps will we be taking?

Regular and highly visible cleaning regimes - We've always prided ourselves on keeping our site in tip-top condition, but now more than ever we'll be going above and beyond to make sure that the sites are super clean. This will include installing a number of hand sanitising units and upping the frequency of our site cleanliness checks, as well as providing anti-bacterial wipes for you to use too if required.

Online waiver signing - We will introduce a new system where you can sign the waiver (this is an industry-standard form you sign before going on any West Country Games activities) which is online, and require everyone to complete before you visit us. Not only will this help to protect you and our staff, but will also limit the number of people congregating in our briefing areas.

Signage - We'll be operating a few one-way systems where necessary so that none of you have to cross-over where not necessary, to limit queueing systems. All signage will encourage 2 metre distancing between individuals & groups.

Staff PPE - Where applicable, staff will be wearing masks, and sometimes gloves. And whilst it's not compulsory, we encourage you to do the same. We will limit the amount of close interaction staff will have with you, but please be aware this won't always be completely possible, for example during kit-up. Rest assured, our staff will be operating under strict distancing and highly visible hygiene regimes.

Limiting cash payments - We will encourage you to bring your own refreshments, to reduce the number of cash payments. Strict cleaning practices will be in place whenever this is not possible.

The above steps are already being planned and put in place. We may add or take away a couple of steps, depending on Government guidelines closer to the time of opening, but right now, this is our focus.
