We have drawn up a list of Welsh Games‘ most favourite Cardiff Halloween events on offer. Read on, if you dare!
Night of the Living Dead
For the Cardiff Halloween party that never fails to deliver, drag your zombie heels over to Revolution for Mode’s Night of the Living Dead.
The venue is really going to town with the gruesome décor but the brave will be rewarded with a hellish party the night amongst giant cobweb confetti cannons and mysterious mist machines. The most bloodcurdling fancy dress possible is an absolute must if you want to join in the terror!

Halloween Airsoft Zombie Attack
Venture into the eerie woods outside Cardiff for a night you’ll never forget… if you survive to tell the tale that is! Airsoft Cardiff have been contaminated after a top-secret experiment got out of hand.
The scientists and marshals have become bloodthirsty, contagious zombies and only you can save the planet by shooting them in the head and controlling this outbreak before it’s too late! Even if you’ve never played airsoft before, this is a great starter event which is sure to get you hooked!

Halloween Movies in Cardiff Castle
It’s not Halloween without watching a film to make your toes crawl, so why not trade in the couch for a chance to experience a screening at Cardiff Castle’s seriously spooky Underground Cinema?
As soon as you descend into the Castle’s 15th century Undercroft, chills will be creeping up your spine from the suspense… or maybe from that mysterious draft…? With multiple showings from Hocus Pocus and Coco to Guillermo de Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth there’s something here for all the family!

Cardiff Mansion Halloween Special
Take a trip to Cardiff Mansion for a chance to experience some seriously freaky paranormal activity! There are plenty of spooky stories about this old tradesman’s house with staff reporting unusual happenings and uneasy feelings in some of the rooms.
Spend the evening with Cardiff Ghost Seekers and find out for yourself if it really is haunted! You can even stay the night in one of the rooms if you’re brave enough!

X-Scream
Okay, so this one isn’t actually in Cardiff itself, but it’s so awesome we couldn’t miss it off the list!
Head to Rhondda Heritage Park, just 25 minutes from the capital, for X-Scream, a fully immersive experience, with seriously terrifying actors, special effects and a shock at every corner! This year is a fairy tale special so be prepared for some really twisted characters that have climbed out from your favourite bed time stories!
Clamber through the underground chambers of this disused mine and fight to survive while you struggle to make it back to the light. Your heart may never beat the same again after you witness what’s lurking in the dark!

Breakout Cardiff
Make a beeline for Breakout Cardiff this Halloween and take on their two scariest escape rooms which have been made extra unnerving especially for the spooky season. Creepy disembodied voices will taunt you as you desperately try to lift the dark magic of the Cursed Carnival.
In Disturbed, your heart will be seriously thumping while you endeavour to track down your missing colleague in an abandoned warehouse. Keep your wits about you and, whatever you do, don’t get locked in overnight!

Big Night Out / Halloween Special
Get ready for the biggest night of the year over at Pryzm Cardiff on the night of Halloween! Don your best halloween garb, and revel in the spooky décor.
The usual array of different rooms and DJs will be there ready to get your feet moving and you can be sure that the hypnotic, pounding rhythms will definitely possess you! If last years production is anything to go by they will pull out all the stops with visuals, sound and special effects to knock your socks off.
The crowd is guaranteed to be whipped into a wild frenzy so make sure you are amongst the crazed masses!

Disco of The Dead – Tramshed
Don’t miss this epic Halloween night run in collaboration with Triple Cooked who bring together banging music, art and entertainment.
Expect to hear House, Disco, Bass and Garage beats loud enough to wake the dead!
The stage production will be out of this world with performers, art and stalls to keep you going through to the end of the night!

Festival of the Dead
This amazing festival is touring the UK and hits Cardiff just after Halloween so you can keep the vibe going longer! Keen to separate themselves from Latin American religious festival Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), the organisers state that this is more of a carnival atmosphere – sounds good to us!
Dress up with your best sugar skull face paint and expect amazing circus and theatre performances including huge carnival characters and acrobats and buckle down for a night of crazy clubbing!

St. Canna’s Ale House
If there’s a special date in the calendar, you can be guaranteed that St. Canna’s will be throwing a bash and this Halloween in Cardiff is no different!
The atmosphere in this micro pub is always super friendly and warm so expect to be coaxed into an apple bobbing competition before you can even cross the threshold!
This year it’s a Vampire vs Zombie party so pick your side, make sure you go to town with your outfit and stay it out to the end of the night to see who wins!
Team the ever-changing craft and real ales on offer, some classic games and ghoulish tunes spinning on the Vinyl Jukebox and we reckon you have a pretty perfect night ahead!
